Child Dental Benefits Scheme

Medicare – Child Dental Benefits Schedule came into effect January 2014. It is designed to provide up to $1,000 in benefits for eligible children aged 2-17 years, for basic dental services over two consecutive calendar years.

The CDBS provides benefits for a range of basic dental services including examinations, x-rays, cleaning, fillings, root canals and extractions.
